Serious accident on the K 7767: 24-year-old fights for his life!

On Wednesday afternoon, a serious traffic accident occurred on the K 7767 between Unterrehna and Oberrehna, in which a 24-year-old driver was seriously injured. The young man was traveling with his VW Golf Kombi around 1 p.m. when he got off the road in an elongated left turn for unexplained reasons and landed in a ditch. There his vehicle crashed into a tree with the roof.

The force of the impact occurred that the driver was caught in the vehicle. Firefighters had to intervene with technical equipment to free it. After the emergency medical care, the seriously injured man was flown to the hospital with a rescue helicopter. The VW Golf suffered total damage and had to be removed from a towing service. The K 7767 was completely blocked for several hours until around 4.30 p.m.
