Serious accident on L742: 71-year-old crashes against tree!

On Friday morning, April 11, 2025, a serious accident occurred on the L742 when a 71-year-old man from Olsberg came off the road with his car shortly behind Wulmeringhausen and crashed into a tree. The driver suffered serious injuries, but there is no danger to life. He was flown to a hospital with a rescue helicopter.

Because of the accident recording, the L742 had to be blocked in both directions. The rail traffic on the parallel railway line was also temporarily discontinued. The reasons for the agreement from the road are currently still unclear.
