on Friday morning, at 11:10 a.m., there was a dramatic accident on the B88 in Georgenthal. A 15-year-old driver and her 14-year-old passenger wanted to turn left towards Friedrichroda when they overlooked an approaching car. The collision by car led to severe but not life -threatening injuries to the two young people.

The scene of the accident was closed for over 90 minutes, while emergency services and police initiated the necessary measures. Fortunately, the injuries are not so serious that serious consequences would be feared.
