Serious accident in Güstrow: Child crosses Straße and is recorded!

In a tragic incident in Güstrower Hafenstrasse, an 8-year-old boy was seriously injured in a traffic accident. The boy suddenly wanted to cross the street in front of a local kindergarten between two parked cars on Sunday afternoon at 1:50 p.m. when he was hit by a Mercedes. Despite an immediate danger braking of the 63-year-old driver, the collision could no longer be prevented.

The boy was brought to the KMG Klinikum Güstrow suspected of an arm fracture and several abrasions. The driver suffered a shock and is also medical care. There is currently no further information about possible damage to property. Eyewitnesses reported on the dramatic scenery, which took place in the quiet neighborhood.
