Serious accident in Jördenstorf: 12-year-old pedestrian injured!

On Thursday afternoon, around 3:05 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on Teterower Strasse in Jördenstorf. A 12-year-old child was hit by a car while crossing the road whose 34-year-old driver was traveling towards Gnoien. The exact course of the accident is still unclear, but the child suddenly stepped onto the street from the sidewalk.

The accident child suffered considerable head injuries and had to be hospitalized immediately to the Rostock University Hospital. The material damage to the vehicle amounts to around 2000 euros. The Güstrow criminal police have started the investigation to comprehensively clarify the circumstances of the incident.
