Serious accident in Lübeck: scooter driver without a driver's license and under the influence of alcohol!

In the night of Friday, April 11, 2025, a dramatic traffic accident occurred in Lübeck-Kücknitz. A 36-year-old scooter driver presumably fell in a curve alone and suffered serious injuries. A passerby immediately alerted the police when he saw the driver plunged on the feeder from Waldhusener Straße to federal road 75. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.

The investigation showed that the scooter driver may have been under the influence of alcohol. Police officers therefore had a blood sample. It also turned out that the Piaggio scooter he drove was not insured and the driver also had no valid driving license. The property damage to the scooter is estimated at around 150 euros. The driver will now have to answer for various offenses.
