Serious accident in Möglingen: 65-year-old cyclists fight for his life

On the late Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred in Möglingen at 11:30 p.m. A 65-year-old cyclist who was traveling from Asperger Straße got on the left side of the road due to an unknown cause. There he collided with two parked VW vehicles. After the second impact, the cyclist flew over the handlebar, crashed into the bonnet of the second VW and fell to the ground.

The pensioner did not wear a helmet and suffered life -threatening injuries. He was immediately taken to the hospital by the emergency services. During the accident recording, the police found evidence of a possible alcohol influence by the cyclist, which is why a blood sample was taken from him.
