Serious accident in Wesendorf: 13-year-olds recorded by car!

On Monday morning, a serious traffic accident occurred on Kreisstraße 7 north of Wesendorf, at a bus stop. A 13-year-old left her mother's car at around 8:30 a.m. and crossed the street when she was hit by a Volkswagen Golf. The 30-year-old driver could no longer prevent the collision despite a braking. The child was seriously injured and brought to the Hanover Medical School with a rescue helicopter. The driver was unharmed, but was visibly in shock. The golf was towed.

The district road was completely closed to the scene of the accident for about four hours, while the police took up the accident. An appraiser was consulted for the reconstruction of the action. Two ambulances and an emergency doctor were also in use.
