Serious traffic accident on B51: B51 closed for two hours!

On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, there was a dramatic traffic accident at 3:27 p.m. on the B51 at the Güdinger Brücke. A 66-year-old driver of a white Ford Turneo disregarded the right of way and collided with a gray VW Caddy, who was controlled by an 80-year-old woman. In the violent collision, the 66-year-old passenger of the Ford was seriously injured, while the driver of the Caddy and her 80-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. The person who caused the accident remained intact.

Both vehicles were severely damaged by the impact and had to be towed on the spot. During the accident recording, the B51 had to be completely blocked for about two hours. The incident causes considerable attention.
