Around 12:30 p.m., a VW driver who was traveling with three inmates had to brake abruptly due to traffic conditions. The 59-year-old driver of a Mercedes C-Class recognized the situation in good time and slowed down her speed. But the 48-year-old Fiat driver behind her overlooked the danger and crashed into the rear of the Mercedes with full force, which was pushed to the VW.

The Fiat driver suffered life-threatening injuries in the impact and was flown to a hospital with a rescue helicopter.
