Serious traffic accident in Datteln: Fire brigade in action!

On Thursday evening at 8:14 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred at the Landwehr Ring in Datteln. A driver came off the road for an unexplained cause and crashed into a lantern with full force. Immediately firefighters and emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident, where the injured inmate was initially supplied by a fire brigade colleague who happened to be on a neighboring sports field.

The Datteln fire brigade quickly corresponded to the alarm and dispatched both full -time and voluntary forces. These had previously participated in an exercise for serious traffic accidents, which they had to stop immediately to use their Newly Acquired Skills in the real emergency. They also received support from the emergency services of the neighboring town of Oer-Erkenschwick. The police have taken over the investigation into the cause of the accident.
