Serious traffic accident in Ibbenbüren: three people seriously injured

In a shocking traffic accident in Ibbenbüren, three people were seriously injured on Saturday evening, May 17th, around 10.30 p.m. On Ibbenbürener Straße, height house number 6, there was a dramatic frontal collision. A 24-year-old driver from Ibbenbüren, who was traveling with an Opel Insignia, overlooked an oncoming vehicle and crashed head-on into a Renault Captur.

In the Renault, there were a 66-year-old driver and his 62-year-old passenger, both from Westerkappeln. All three people involved in the accident suffered serious injuries. The rescue workers were quickly on hand, a total of three ambulances and a rescue helicopter were mobilized to supply the injured. The accident shaked the local community and left a picture of terror.
