On the evening of April 20, a dramatic traffic accident occurred in Geestland! A 39-year-old woman from the district of Cuxhaven lost control of her VW and raced from the road, presumably because of excessive speed and alcohol at the wheel. In a left curve she crashed head -on against a street tree.

The accident driver was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. But not only she suffered: her dog, who was also in the vehicle, suffered injuries and was brought to Wittstedt for further care to the shelter. Both the car and the filming of the incident ended in total damage! The police immediately entered the driver's driver's license. Shocking scenes in Geestland - the evening could also have ended tragic!
