Serious traffic accident: Several injuries in drama on the country road

On Tuesday afternoon, a serious traffic accident occurred on the route between Strümpfelbrunn and Wagenschwend. At 2:30 p.m., a driver of a VW Polo wanted to overtake a car driving in front of him when he raced into a column of three motorcycles. The third motorcyclist was slowly striped and felled seriously, sliding about 100 meters across the road.

The chaos started when the Polo then collapsed with a black Dacia, which was rejected in a meadow. The polo driver had to be freed from his car by the fire brigade and was seriously injured to the hospital with a rescue helicopter. The motorcyclist and the driver of the Dacia were also seriously injured, while her passenger and two small children in the Dacia suffered minor injuries. The cause of the accident and the property damage are currently still unclear.
