on Tuesday evening, May 13th, a seriously injured 46-year-old was found at around 9:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the district sports facility on Eruhrstrasse. The alarmed rescue workers immediately took him to the hospital. Tragically, the man there succumbed to his serious injuries on Thursday, May 15th.

The Essen police are now urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information about what has occurred in the parking lot before the man's man's finding. Information is requested to clarify the circumstances of his severe assault.
