Sea emergencies on Lake Constance: saved two caps in cold water!

On Saturday, May 26, 2025, water protection police and rescue workers in Überlingen had their hands full. Initially, two people triggered a lakes after their sailing dye capsized in front of Hagnau. Fortunately, they only wore light clothing, but could be saved quickly. The sailboat was recovered with the support of the DLRG.

But that wasn't all! Shortly before 7:00 p.m., the crew of a catamaran man also captivated, which brought itself to safety on one of the runners. It was too late to set up the catamaran, and the emergency services of the water protection police, DLRG and fire brigade came to help. All people could be saved, some were first supplied due to hypothermia. One person was quickly brought to the waiting rescue workers in the port. The water protection police warning in front of cold water: Despite the warm weather, the water temperature is only about 10 degrees Celsius, which carries health risks. It is advisable to wear suitable clothing in water sports!
