Security offensive in Kerpen: Police discover illegal slot machines!

Kerpen, Deutschland - The Rhein-Erft-Kreis police carried out an impressive attendance on Thursday, April 24th in Kerpen! In particular at the Horrem and Sindorf stations, the security of the citizens was raised by increased patrol activity. In close cooperation with the riot police, the regulatory office and the federal police, joint strip teams were formed to strengthen the feeling of security.

A highlight of the campaign was the control of a gastronomic operation in Marienstrasse, in which two illegal slot machines and two non-licensed betting terminals were discovered. The emergency services set the devices secure and initiated investigations immediately. In addition, numerous machine components were found in adjoining rooms. The criminal officers have taken over the secure machines and the investigation is in full swing. The first police chief commissioner Frank Menzel emphasizes: "The presence at the train stations and the controls are essential. We continue these presence operations with our security partners!"
