In a dramatic incident in Kirkel-Neuhäusel, unknown people blew up an ATM in a supermarket building in the early Sunday morning hour (April 13, 2025). The explosion occurred around 3:51 a.m. and caused considerable damage to Bank 1 Saar, which is in the supermarket. Residents report a loud bang that shook the entire environment. A red, highly motorized vehicle could be connected to the crime, and the police are urgently looking for witnesses who can provide relevant information.

The building, which also houses a bakery, was badly damaged by the explosion, so that the bakery was operated on Sunday.
