Weilerswist, Deutschland - A nightly adventure took a violent turn for a 28-year-old driver from Weilerswist on Thursday morning at 3 a.m. On Kreisstraße 21, he raced directly into a hedge regardless of traffic rules. Instead of using the street, the man decided to explore nature in a spectacular crash. The damage to his vehicle was enormous - the car had to be towed.

The police quickly caught the driver at his home address. A complaint for traffic accident with flight and drug abuse was initiated against him. It was an unsightly conclusion for a nightly jaunt that anything but lightning.
