Petrol station robbery in Hildesheim: suspicious brisk!

On Wednesday morning, May 7, 2025, a petrol station robbery was reported in Hildesheim. A 32-year-old man entered the petrol station on Marienburger Strasse three times within just half an hour. During his third visit, he demanded money without using a weapon or another dangerous object.

The police immediately let an assignment run and was able to arrest the suspect 15 minutes later at the Nettelbeckstraße / Großer Saatner intersection. After a short survey and consultation with the public prosecutor, the man was released, while an investigation was initiated against him for attempted predatory extortion.
