Telephone swindler aims at a senior citizen: 400 euros in danger!
On Wednesday, April 23, a fraudster, a 78-year-old woman in the Paderborn district, tried to bring her money to a perfidious "PayPal" stitch. The caller pretended to be a PayPal employee and asked the senior citizen to transfer 400 euros to Bitcoins. To make his access easier, he also wanted the "AnyDesk" software to install on her PC.
Fortunately, the woman could not follow the fraudsters' instructions and the conversation ended before it came to a financial loss. The police urgently warn against such attempts to fraud and advise you to inform the investigative authorities immediately.| Details | |
