In a nightly campaign on April 21, 2025, two young men in Oldenburg in Holstein stolen a large plastic figure from an animal feed shop. The brave thieves were observed by an attentive witness who immediately alerted the police. The officers of the Oldenburg police station were able to track down the perpetrators at their living address, where they had to carry the oversized plastic dog, which was simply too big for their car.

The investigation began when a 30-year-old Oldenburg woman saw around 1:00 a.m. how the two strangers transported the figure towards the city center, supported by a parallel vehicle. Despite the strong diversion maneuver, their escape was only short -lived because the police quickly intervened and the two men grabbed. A blatant theft that ended with a rough mishap!
