Fatal accident on Dülmen bypass: 30-year-old dies tragically

On Wednesday evening, April 23, 2025, a tragic traffic accident occurred on the Dülmen bypass (B474) that ended fatally. Around 5:10 p.m., a 26-year-old driver from Marl was traveling towards Coesfeld, accompanied by a 22-year-old passenger from Dülmen. A 30-year-old Dülmener caught in the opposite direction for unexplained reasons and collided head-on with the vehicle of the two men.

The impact was devastating: the Dülmen car hurled over the protective plank, so that the driver was immediately seriously injured.
