Tragic accident in Sievershagen: pedestrian dies after collision
On April 14, 2025, a tragic accident occurred on the B 105 in Sievershagen at around 6:00 p.m., in which a 58-year-old pedestrian lost her life. A 61-year-old VW driver collided with a Toyota at the intersection that was directed by a 53-year-old woman. The collision was so violent that the Toyota driver hit a light sign mast and caught the pedestrian. Despite immediate resuscitation attempts by first aiders and rescue workers, all help came too late.
Fortunately, the Toyota driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. In order to clarify the cause of the accident, the DEKRA was consulted for support, while the B 105 was temporarily closed due to the rescue measures and the accident. The property damage is estimated at around 45,000 euros, and the light signal system will remain out of operation by April 15, 2025.| Details | |
