Tragic misfortune: paraglider at Höxter fatally crashed

On Saturday, April 12th, a tragic accident occurred in Höxter-Godelheim. A 57-year-old paraglider from the Gütersloh district was discovered by another plane at around 5 p.m. after he had apparently crashed. The witness, who discovered the accident, hurried to the injured person and immediately alerted the emergency services, but all help came too late for the man - the emergency services could only find death.

After initial investigations, the paraglider started from Brunsberg at 3:45 p.m. Why he suddenly crashed about 25 minutes later, around 4:10 p.m., remains unclear. The police are now investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
