Tragedy in Dannenberg: Lifeless person from old Jeetzel

In the early afternoon of April 13, a lifeless person in the Alte Jeetzel river was discovered in Dannenberg. The police received the emergency call and hurried to the Thielenburger See around 2:40 p.m., where the emergency services with the support of the fire brigade rose the lifeless body of a man at the embankment. Unfortunately, only the man's death could be found.

The police blocked the area and immediately started investigations that will continue in cooperation with the criminal and investigative service Lüchow. The focus is currently on the identity of the deceased, while the investigation continues.
