Triptis, Deutschland - On Sunday evening, two serious incidents with a tractor in Thuringia occurred. First, the police in Schleiz was informed about a traffic accident escape at 6:30 p.m., in which a tractor damaged a traffic sign and a tree before simply rushing away.

Later, around 8:00 p.m., there was another accident in the forest near Leubsdorf. The 49-year-old driver lost control in a left turn and crashed into several trees. In doing so, he contracted head injuries and had to be taken to the hospital. During the check, the officials noticed strong alcohol smell: a breath alcohol test resulted in 2.3 per thousand! The man now faces serious allegations, including the unauthorized removal from the scene of the accident and danger to road traffic. His tractor was rated as a total economic damage at around 5,000 euros, while the external damage is estimated at around 2,000 euros.
