On Tuesday afternoon (May 13th), civilian freeway investigators from the South Hesse police headquarters checked a 66-year-old van driver on the A 5. In his vehicle, the officers discovered two car engines that clearly come from vehicles stolen in Poland and France. In addition, the investigators secured another engine, the origin of which is still unclear.

The driver was temporarily arrested, and the investigation into stealing continues. After completing the police measures, he was released. The investigators are optimistic about gaining further knowledge about the origin of the third engine.
