Environmental dangers in shipping: Bremen controls waste regulations!

Bremen, Deutschland - The Bremen water protection police call for the large environmental campaign! From May 12th to 18th, 2025, the water authorities, together with the Water Protection Police North Rhine-Westphalia, will check the compliance with strict environmental and waste regulations in shipping- and that throughout Germany! The pressure on the ship operators is increasing: waste such as oil sludge, machine room residues and waste water must not simply be tilted into the water. Clear rules for environmentally friendly disposal must be observed in order not to damage nature.

But the inspectors don't just rely on strict monitoring! They also go the preventive path and inform those responsible for the ship in order to avoid environmental damage in advance. Different authorities take part in this large -scale campaign to keep an eye on shipping nationwide. Whether on rivers, lakes or the sea - the environment is now a top priority!
