Inattentive behavior: 16-year-old triggers fire service in Taufkirchen
Taufkirchen, Deutschland - A 16-year-old caused excitement in Taufkirchen near Munich when he threw a glowing cigarette on the tracks and thus triggered a fire. Witnesses reported that the young person was smoking on the Friedensweg and carelessly threw the cigarette into the embankment that is located right next to the railway tracks. Then he removed the S-Bahn into the city.
Fortunately, the fire brigade operation was without any noteworthy damage to the rail systems, but there was a short-term closure of the route during the extinguishing work, which led to slight delays in S-Bahn traffic. The Federal Police has taken up investigations against the young people for negligent property damage through fire and warns urgently of careless behavior near tracks.Details | |
