Schlehenweg, Cloppenburg, Deutschland - Unknown perpetrators in Cloppenburg have been in the title in Cloppenburg: Between April 15 and 16, 2025, a VW Passat stole both license plates - a clear case of label theft in Schlehenweg. The police are taking information on the perpetrators on 04471/1860115. In addition, the window pane of a youth center on Friesoyther Straße was hit on the same night. It is still unclear whether the intruders actually achieved stolen goods.

On Tuesday there was also a traffic accident on Kneheimer Weg: A 67-year-old driver overlooked a 23-year-old woman who seized him. It suffered minor injuries, the damage to the vehicles amounts to around 9,000 euros. At another incident on April 16, two garbage containers on the site of a consumer market sparked a fire that briefly damaged the windows. The Löningen volunteer fire brigade brought the flames under control, but the cause of the fire remains unclear. Investigations are initiated.
