Unknown tries to break up cigarette machines - who saw the perpetrators?

In the night of Tuesday, April 22, 2025, unknown perpetrators tried to open a cigarette machine at the Tegeler Weg/Schöneberger Straße intersection in Göttingen. At around 2:00 a.m., residents became aware of suspicious noises and alerted the police. A witness reported a darkly clad person who fled from the crime scene.

The Göttingen police are now urgently looking for other witnesses or residents who can provide information about the perpetrators. Anyone who has seen something is asked to report on 0551/491-2115.
