Seligenstädter Straße/Waldhofstraße, Deutschland - This was the case at the Seligenstädter Straße/Waldhofstraße rail crossing. A mother and toddler tried to cross the tracks by bike while the barriers were closed! The driver of the approaching S-Bahn threw himself into the breach and warned with an urgent warning tone, but despite immediate emergency braking, a collision could not be averted.

The consequences of this tragic decision are alarming: the two were sometimes seriously injured and immediately taken to a hospital for medical treatment. Witnesses are called to report to the Federal Police in Frankfurt in order to bring light into the dark.
