Accident on Kamener Straße: 72-year-old rams parked cars and is slightly injured

On Friday, April 11, 2025, around 3:25 p.m. on Kamener Strasse at the Glückauf-barracks, a violent traffic accident was slightly injured. A 72-year-old woman for Unna lost control of her vehicle for reasons that have so far been unexplained, got left off the road and crashed against a car parked on the sidewalk.

The impact was so strong that the parked car was thrown onto the opposite side of the street and two more vehicles touched there. In addition, the senior car hit the senior car against a street lamp that bended and damaged an adjacent hedge and a fence. The property damage amounts to around 53,700 euros. Both accident vehicles had to be towed, while the other two vehicles remained ready to drive. The shots of the accident site continued until around 5:20 p.m., the police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
