A 78-year-old driver caused a spectacular accident in the Mannheim district of Schönau on Saturday afternoon. Shortly after 1 p.m., the senior drove the Königsberger Allee with his Hyundai when he overlooked a VW coming from the right at the intersection to Memeler Straße. There was a violent collision that made the two vehicles unusable and required towing.

Fortunately, no one was injured in this crash. Nevertheless, the property damage amounts to an impressive 20,000 euros. Another time it shows how quickly accidents can happen - luckily everyone involved went away with the horror.
