Arrest at the border crossing: Searched rapists in Offenburg!

A sought -after rapist was arrested on Monday evening (May 12th) at the Rheinau border crossing when he arrived from France to Germany. The 33-year-old French citizen was sentenced to a prison sentence of more than two years in January 2025.

In routine control, the officers of the common Franco-German service unit discovered an enforcement recruitment warrant against the man, who now has to spend two years and seven months in prison. He was immediately transferred to a correctional facility.
