Arrests in Hildesheim: Motorists with a whipping ring and overload!
The Saturday evening in Hildesheim brought two spectacular police operations. At 7 p.m., the motorway police stopped when it stopped a car in the city center. The car, the license plate of which pretended to be properly approved, was actually not permitted. The 24-year-old driver tried to flee on foot and threw a whipped ring away-which didn't help him. Now he is faced with several allegations: driving without a license, violation of the compulsory insurance law and license plate abuse.
In the night at 00:30 a.m., an overloaded van on the BAB 7 towards Hamburg was targeted by the officials. The 29-year-old driver from Hessen had exceeded the permissible total weight of 3500 kg by a whopping 29%! Despite his excuses, he could not show the necessary documents for commercial goods transport. The police prohibited the onward journey, and only after five hours the driver was able to continue his trip. An administrative offense procedure is initiated, and both the driver and his employer must expect a sensitive fine.
