Delightful apartment fire in Eutin: nine apartments uninhabitable!
In the early hours of the morning there was a devastating fire in an apartment building in Eutiner Riemannstrasse. At 01:30 a.m. the fire broke out on the 2nd floor and quickly spread to a neighboring apartment. The Eutin fire brigades were alerted at 01:33 am with the dramatic message: human life in danger! When the emergency services arrived, the affected apartment was already in full fire, flames beat out of windows and the roof. Despite immediate extinguishing work, the spread to another apartment could not be prevented, which led to considerable damage to property and made a total of nine apartments uninhabitable.
Fortunately, the message about a missing person turned out to be wrong - the apartment had left the apartment independently. In addition to the Eutin fire brigade, the weirs from Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen and other support forces were also on site. With an impressive coordination of two turntable ladders and several jet pipes inside and outer attack, the further fire spread could be contained.
