Traffic chaos after accident: red light abuse in Ludwigsburg!

On Saturday, May 10, 2025, there was a spectacular traffic accident in the intersection of Frankfurter Straße to Ludwigsburger Straße around 5:00 p.m. A 57-year-old driver of a Toyota Avensis apparently ignored the red light and crashed into the properly driving Land Rover Defender in the intersection. The Land Rover driver suffered minor injuries, while the total damage is estimated at around 35,000 euros.

Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive and had to be towed. The emergency services of the police and fire brigade were quickly on site to cope with the situation. Due to the cleaning work, the intersection was temporarily blocked, which led to considerable traffic disruptions.
