On Tuesday morning, officials from the Sigmaringen police station on Alderplatz in Meßkirch carried out traffic controls. A total of 12 drivers who were not strapped were warned. In addition, four drivers were stopped who used their cell phone while driving and now have to expect a fine and a point in Flensburg.

After an alcohol-related incident on Tuesday evening, a 63-year-old man at Rohrdorf was checked at the wheel of his car. He showed typical abnormalities and a breath alcohol test showed almost a per thousand. The man had to undergo a blood sample in the hospital. The result will decide on the further course of the procedure. In addition, diesel from construction vehicles was stolen several times in Sentenhart, with the perpetrator sucking hundreds of fuel in two nights. The Pfullendorf police are now looking for witnesses.
