traffic risk arouses concerns in the community community

On Friday, August 9th, 2024, there was a troubling incident in Ludwigshafen-Maudach, which put both the residents and the local police authority on alert. In the period between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., an unknown driver endangered several road users and thus caused an increased discussion about traffic safety in the region.

Details of the incident

The incident started when a driver drove Speyerer Strasse towards Maudach. During this trip, a driver of a black Mercedes Cabrio came towards him at a significantly excessive speed. This driver, a male perpetrator, showed aggressive behavior by verbally threatening the injured and asking him to stop. After he turned, he drove so close to the injured party that he could no longer read the license plate. The highlight of this worrying argument came when the perpetrator deliberately opened his vehicle onto the rear of the injured party's rear, causing property damage of around 2000 euros. The perpetrator then fled towards Hindenburgstrasse.

The offender's descriptions

It is described as stocky or trained with bald and chin beard, which could offer some clues for possible witnesses. The escape vehicle is identified as a black convertible of the Mercedes brand, which could possibly be important for the search.
