Traffic accidents in the district of Mettmann: perpetrators flee undisturbed!

In the past few days, the police in the Mettmann district have recorded several traffic accident escape. An incident in Monheim am Rhein was particularly serious, where an unattended, white VW Passat was damaged on the entire left side of the vehicle in the night from 17 to May 18 to May 18. The unknown cause fled from the scene of the accident without taking care of the considerable damage of around 8,000 euros.

Before, between May 12 and 13, there was also a similar traffic accident escape in Erkrath. Here a blue Kia Sorento was hit in a parking lot on Schinkelstrasse on the rear and the driver also removed without regulating the damage of an estimated 1,500 euros. The police admonishes the citizens to report accidents immediately and to capture information on accidents in order to hold the perpetrators into account.
