On Tuesday morning, a 48-year-old from Heidenheim was reported missing, which led to a large-scale search call. Relatives took care of their well -being, and the police mobilized numerous emergency services, including a helicopter and search dogs to find the woman.

The intensive search was successful: a short time later, around 8 p.m., a dog handler from the DRK discovered the missing person in a forest near the quarry near Mergelstetten. As a precaution, the woman was taken to hospital for medical treatment. A happy ending for a worrying case!
