On Sunday, February 16, 2025, an unknown perpetrator tried to break into an apartment in the rear Christofsgasse in Mainz. The 17-year-old resident was in the apartment with a friend when she heard the suspicious noise on the door. With quick action, they drew attention to themselves through noises, so that the intruder paid off from his project and fled undetected.
