Confused motorist (79) escapes after accident - police are looking for witnesses!

Im kleinen Felde, Witzenhausen, Deutschland - On Tuesday afternoon, the police in Witzenhausen were informed about a possibly alcoholic driver. A 67-year-old man from the city was found at his owner address around 4:00 p.m. and had a breath alcohol test of over 2 per thousand. The police prompted blood sampling and confiscated his vehicle key and the driver's license. The man now has to answer for drunkenness in traffic.

On Wednesday morning, employees of the DRK district association Witzenhausen reported an attempted break -in into their administration building. The police found fresh traces of burglary on windows and doors, but the perpetrators could not penetrate the building. There was property damage that cannot yet be quantified.
