Weapon and theft: Essen perpetrator caught with irritant gun!

A 55-year-old man was arrested in Essen Central Station on the morning of May 12 after stealing several protein products in a drugstore. The German tried to pass the cash register without paying, but was provided by the federal police. During the search, the officials also found an irritant gun and personal documents from a third person in his pocket.

The suspect admitted the thefts, but refused further statements and claimed to have found the documents. After completing the investigation, he was allowed to leave the office, but is now due to theft with weapons, violation of the weapons law and embezzlement in court.
