On Friday afternoon, April 9, 2025, a spectacular incident occurred at the main train station in Halle (Saale): A 38-year-old started on the forces of the federal police after he initially remained uncooperative. Despite repeated requests for identity control, he threatened an official and tried to attack him. The situation escalated when the man had to be arrested and brought to the office. He injured two police officers, who were still still in service.

A value of 2.03 per thousand was found in a breath alcohol test. The identity of the aggressive man was clarified thanks to his Federal Personnel ID. Further investigations have shown that two arrest warrants were presented against him: a fine of 900 euros due to fraud and a penalty of 4200 euros due to dangerous bodily harm. After contact with his family, the amount of 5100 euros was transferred, which brought him back freedom - but not without new advertisements for resistance and assault on enforcement officers!
