Call witness call: Stone throw on regional express at Förderstedt!

On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Federal Police Inspection Magdeburg was informed about a dangerous incident in rail traffic at 6:10 p.m.: A regional express that was traveling from Erfurt to Magdeburg was thrown at around 5:54 p.m. in Förderstedt. The throw hit a disc that split into pieces. Fortunately, the travelers were not injured nearby. The train had to arrive with a delay of 30 minutes due to the incident.

The federal police immediately initiated the investigation and is looking for witnesses. People who noticed people or vehicles near the railway tracks in Förderstedt at around 5:50 p.m. are asked to report.
