Pimp search in Hanover: over 300 civil servants in use!

Over 300 forces from the Hanover main customs office and the police searched a total of 15 objects in Hanover and the surrounding area on the evening of April 25, 2025. The aim of the campaign was to combat undeclared work in the prostitution industry, in which various housing bordels were targeted. This second search follows earlier investigations last year against a pimp and his wife, which is now also suspected.

According to Enrico Bacher, spokesman for the main customs office, cash deposits of over 300,000 euros have been known to accounts of the accused since 2019, and cryptocurrency deposits have also been discovered. The suspects are said to have employed calls, drivers and prostitutes unauthorized and did not take social security contributions. It is expected that the number of prostitutes involved and the associated sales are considerably higher than previously assumed. Numerous documents and data were ensured during the searches, as well as doping agents in the suspect's apartment.
