Two driving bans after nightly frenzy in Stadthagen

In the past few weeks there have always been complaints from citizens who complained about nightly frenzy in their urban area. The police from Stadthagen called these symptoms. In the night from Friday to Saturday, police officers undertook measures to follow this information. As part of speed controls on Breslauer Strasse and in St. Annen, data was collected and observed.

The nightly streets, as expected, were rather empty, so that the officials were able to extensively monitor the traffic. While the majority of the drivers behaved in an exemplary manner, some road users still had to be held accountable. A total of twelve violations of the permissible top speed of 50 km/h have been determined. The highest measured speed was terrifying 89 km/h, which was not only above the limit, but also led to serious consequences for the driver.

For two drivers who drove much faster, this meant the loss of their driver's license for a month. In addition, they had to expect a fine of 260 euros and two points in Flensburg. These measures underline the determination of the police to respond to the concerns of citizens and to ensure security in road traffic.

The police controls are not only a reaction to the symptoms, but also an important step to maintain order and security in Stadthagen. Lawn is not only dangerous for the driver himself, but also for other road users and pedestrians. Through such controls, the police send a clear message: frenzy is not tolerated and corresponding measures are taken to make the streets safer.

The police continue to encourage citizens to report if they observe abnormalities in traffic. A safe environment can only be created through active cooperation. The incidents of the previous night are an urgent example of the fact that fast driving not only has legal consequences, but is also potentially life -threatening.

Overall, this initiative of the police shows that it takes care of the concerns of the citizens and takes measures to improve security on the streets. Control of speed overrun will surely continue in the future to increase the pressure on speeders and give residents a safe feeling.
